DIVERSITY IN BREWING
We are a grassroots initiative dedicated to celebrating and
supporting diversity in the craft beer industry.
Our objective is to promote and foster a diverse, respectful, safe, and welcoming brewing industry across Western Canada and beyond. We provide free resources for breweries interested in creating spaces and cultures that are anti-racist, anti-discriminatory and inclusive.
We also highlight and amplify voices of BIPOC and LGBTQ2S+ folks working in our industry, provide free resources for employees, and facilitate dialogue about diversity & inclusion in craft beer.
In 2020 we established the Diversity In Brewing Award - an annual scholarship with Kwantlen Polytechnic University to support BIPOC and LGBTQ2S+ brewing students.
We acknowledge that our work takes place on the stolen ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. We encourage you to learn more about the history of these Indigenous Peoples and their land.

As a grassroots initiative, we are not sponsored or affiliated with any particular brand or business and rely on community donations to fund our blog and to ensure Contributors are appropriately compensated.
